Thanks to them, I am eager to continue to grow in my role and to help others make their starts here. So many have spoken up for me in rooms that I did not frequent, have introduced me to future colleagues, or have taken a chance on me in general. Don't be afraid to ask colleagues for help or to ask for feedback it is the main way you will grow in your career. But paid internships are really the icing on the cake. Before applying: Have your motivation letter and rsum ready before filling out the application form. Internships, no matter what they offer, whether it’s academic credit or just old-fashioned good experience, are incredibly valuable. Leave: Interns are entitled to 2.5 days of leave per month during their internship. Much of my experience has come from learning on the job. Supporting Documents: Before the beginning of your internship, you must provide your ID/Certificate of Enrollment/Diploma (if you have just recently graduated). A big piece of advice I can offer those pursuing early career opportunities is to be a student of the game.
